How we approached it
Since Fuel ABC ‘s flagship app was already around in Indian application play stores , determining unique capabilities to integrate into FUELabc for US and UK markets was challenging. We needed to provide novel utility like price change notifications and trip planners without overcomplicating functionality. Balancing replicated features with customized offerings for stood out distinction took concerted evaluation.

To help drivers save money on fuel, we added interactive tutorials on techniques to boost MPG like smooth acceleration and maintaining optimal speeds. Gamifying better driving habits incentivizes gas savings.
Reminders
Users can set location-based reminders to fill up when passing gas stations with cheap prices. These prompts encourage taking advantage of fuel deals discovered in the app.
Digilocker Link
Indian users can connect their Digilocker account for easy access to valid driver's license and vehicle registration when needed during their journey. Simplifying documentation storage & retrieval improves mobility.
Journey Analysis
After entering start and end points, the app provides actionable recommendations to optimize fuel efficiency for the trip through advice like avoiding congested routes. These personalized insights enhance trip planning.
Price Drop Alerts
To immediately notify users of price drops at preferred stations, we developed custom notifications so drivers can act fast when rates fall below target thresholds. Quick price change awareness fosters savings.
