How we approached it
At Banao, we thrive on projects that spark a difference. PoshN, the brainchild of renowned nutritionist Ms. Mudita Arora, was one such mission driven endeavor. We were tasked with building a website that democratized access to personalized diet and nutrition advice, a project brimming with exciting possibilities and unique challenges. The first major hurdle was creating comprehensive algorithms capable of generating customized diet plans tailored to the unique health status, tastes, lifestyle and goals of each individual who would access PoshN services. Presenting complex nutritional information in a digestible and engaging manner was another key obstacle.

We implemented an in-depth diet and lifestyle questionnaire that users complete upon signup. This survey covers health conditions, medications, physical activity levels, eating habits, food preferences, accessibility constraints, and health objectives spanning weight goals, managing diseases, improving sports performance and more.
Booking Consultations
Users book appointments, complete intakes, communicate needs, and receive tailored meal/nutrition plans alongside ongoing messaging support.
Blogs
To establish PoshN as an invaluable daily resource, we created an extensive blog section to publish articles on trending topics. Categories span healthy recipes, misconceptions about popular diets, advice tailored to chronic conditions, supplements reviews, and exercise guidelines.
Response Page
To provide timely answers to common nutrition questions, we built a rapid Response Page. This portal allows PoshN users to submit brief inquiries, seek assistance from customer support, or request new features to enrich their experience.
Grocery List and Meal Planner Integration
Allow users to directly add items from custom nutrition plans to online grocery lists and sync with meal planning apps for convenience.
Recipe Index
Create indexes where users can browse recipes categorized by dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, diabetes-friendly, etc.), cuisine type, cooking method, and key ingredients.
