User Experience Designing
Design That Survives Contact With Real Users
A good-looking screen that users abandon halfway through isn't design — it's decoration. We design products people actually finish: the signup, the checkout, the clinical workflow someone navigates under pressure. Research first, a component system underneath, and engineers who build it exactly as drawn.

What we deliver
We design systems, not screens
Most agencies hand over a stack of pixel-perfect screens and call it done — then engineering rebuilds half of them, the spacing drifts, and the layout that looked right in Figma breaks on a 360px phone. Banao designs in systems: tokens, components, states, and the edge cases, built by the same engineers who ship them. We design our own products this way first — InterviewGod, Vikaas, and Vidya were designed by Banao's design team before any of them shipped to a customer. Design and engineering sit under one roof, so what you approve is what goes live.
UX Research & Flow Mapping
We watch real users move through your product before we draw anything. Where they hesitate, abandon, or backtrack becomes the map for the redesign — so it fixes the drop-off, not just the look.
Design Systems & Tokens
Components, states, spacing, and color tokens documented once and reused everywhere. New screens ship faster and stay consistent, and engineers pull from the same library the designers drew in.
Prototyping & Usability Testing
Clickable prototypes tested with real users before a line of production code is written. We catch the confusing step in a 30-minute session instead of in a post-launch analytics dip.
Accessibility & WCAG
Contrast, focus order, keyboard paths, and screen-reader labels built in from the first frame. Accessible products reach more users and clear procurement and compliance reviews without a retrofit.
Interaction & Motion Design
Transitions, loading states, and feedback that tell users what just happened and what to do next. Friction drops where it counts: the moments users decide whether to continue.
UX Audit
A structured review of an existing product against real user behavior and usability heuristics. You get a prioritized list of what's costing completions and what to fix first — useful even if we never touch the build.
How we deliver
How we design: research to handoff
- 01
Research
We start with users and data: interviews, analytics, and session reviews that tell us where the current experience breaks and what 'better' would measurably mean.
- 02
Systems & Architecture
We structure the information, define the component system, and set the tokens before drawing final screens — so the design scales instead of fragmenting.
- 03
Prototype & Test
We build clickable prototypes and put them in front of real users, fixing friction in a usability session rather than a post-launch retro.
- 04
Build & Handoff
Our engineers build from the same system the designers drew. Specs, states, and tokens transfer without a translation layer — the product ships as designed.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do you only design, or do you build what you design?
Both. Banao's designers and engineers work under one roof, so the team that draws your product is connected to the team that ships it. You can engage us for design alone, or design through to a built product with no handoff to a separate vendor.
How do you make sure the design performs, not just looks good?
We test before we ship. Flows are validated with real users on prototypes, accessibility and contrast are checked against WCAG, and where it matters we A/B test variants against completion and conversion. The goal is a product users finish, measured — not a gallery of screens.
Can you start with our existing product instead of a redesign?
Yes. A UX audit reviews your live product against real user behavior and usability heuristics, then gives you a prioritized list of what's costing completions and what to fix first. Many engagements start there.
What do you deliver at the end of a design engagement?
A documented design system (components, states, tokens), tested prototypes, and developer-ready specs. If we're also building, those flow straight into engineering. If you're building in-house, your team gets a system they can extend, not a flat set of screens.
How long does a UX engagement take?
It depends on scope. A focused UX audit runs days to a couple of weeks; a full product design with research, systems, and tested prototypes typically runs several weeks. We scope it against your launch timeline before we start.
Have you designed products in regulated or complex domains?
Yes. We designed Hummcare's interface for medical workflows users navigate under stress, and CP Plus's surveillance dashboards where operators monitor many feeds at once. We also design our own products — InterviewGod, Vikaas, and Vidya — before shipping them, so the process is proven on our own operation first.
