The honest version
When site safety AI is not the right answer
We would rather lose a proposal than sell a system that fails on a live site. These are the cases we walk away from:
- Poor camera coverage: if a site has blind spots the cameras cannot reach, an AI model cannot compensate — week one is a coverage audit, and sometimes the honest answer is better camera placement before any model.
- Short single projects: for a two-month residential fit-out with a small crew, the setup cost of a vision pipeline exceeds what manual safety management costs. We will say so and point to a simpler tool.

Almost always no. Banao adds a vision model to the cameras already mounted on the project — the camera brand and age matter less than whether the feed is workable. The week-one audit establishes coverage and image quality before any build is scoped.
How do we handle false positives without alarming the site team?
Threshold calibration is part of the build, not an afterthought. We tune the model on your specific site conditions during the Sprint, and safety officers have a one-tap override so their corrections feed back and the model improves each week.
Can one deployment cover an entire large site with dozens of feeds?
Yes. The model runs centrally and covers all connected feeds simultaneously. The command dashboard surfaces the highest-severity alerts first, so a single safety officer is not overwhelmed by thirty windows.
Does it integrate with our incident management or HSE reporting system?
Yes. Alert data and violation logs can be pushed to your existing incident management system, HSE reporting tool, or project-controls platform. Integration is part of the build deliverable.
What happens if the site layout changes mid-project?
Exclusion zones and coverage areas are reconfigurable without retraining — a safety officer can redraw a boundary in the dashboard. Significant layout changes that affect camera angles are handled in a brief model update, usually within a few days.
