Workforce & HR · Frontline workforce hiring
Frontline roles never stay filled because the funnel is manual
High-turnover, shift-based roles — warehouse operatives, delivery staff, retail floor workers, field technicians — cycle through your ATS continuously. The problem is not candidate supply; it is that each cycle burns the same recruiter hours screening and chasing the same pool.
Banao automates the intake-to-offer pipeline for frontline and hourly hiring: application triage, shift-fit matching, mobile outreach, and offer dispatch. Recruiters focus on the decisions, not the co-ordination.

What we build
What a Banao frontline hiring build covers
Each capability maps to a specific recruiter hour or candidate drop-off. We start with whichever one is costing you the most.
High-volume application intake and ranking
Every inbound application parsed, ranked against the actual role spec, and shortlisted before a recruiter opens the queue — with the reason attached to each ranking so every decision is auditable.
Shift-fit and location matching
Candidates matched to specific shift patterns, site locations, and commute radius before they reach the screen stage — so a recruiter is not scheduling interviews only to discover the candidate cannot cover the shift.
Mobile-first outreach and candidate nudging
Frontline candidates do not monitor email. Outreach goes via SMS and WhatsApp, with automated follow-ups timed to response patterns — so pipeline stall is the exception, not the rule.
Dropout recovery and pipeline recirculation
Candidates who stall mid-funnel are tracked, re-contacted, and offered an alternative role or slot before they go cold — a candidate who applied once is easier to re-engage than one you need to find from scratch.
Offer dispatch and onboarding trigger
From verbal acceptance to signed offer letter and onboarding checklist without a recruiter co-ordinating each step — the delay between 'yes' and day one is where frontline candidates ghost.
Funnel analytics by role and site
Drop-off rate by stage, source-to-hire by job code, and cost-per-hire by site — so TA managers know which roles need a different approach, not just that they are hard to fill.

Delivery-staff intake automated end to end
Continuous delivery-staff hiring across multiple cities meant the same recruiter loop every fortnight. Banao automated application triage, shift-fit matching, and offer dispatch — reducing the manual work per hire while keeping a human on every rejection.
Dogfooding
We run our own hiring on the system we sell
Banao operates a ~300-person engineering company with continuous hiring. InterviewGod — our own screening product — runs the first technical screen for every engineering applicant before a person spends an hour on them. Vikaas runs our own demand generation.
The screening and pipeline automation on this page is not drawn from a white paper. It is the same architecture we depend on every week to staff a growing engineering bench. A system that has to survive our own recruiting pressure is hardened before it reaches yours.
Screens every Banao engineering hire before a panel hour is spent.
Runs Banao's own demand-gen pipeline end to end.
The honest version
When frontline hiring automation is the wrong investment
We will tell you before you build it if the root cause is not in the funnel:
- Structural attrition: if turnover is driven by pay, shift conditions, or management, an automated funnel fills roles faster but does not change the fill rate over time. We will say so.
- No stable job spec: a ranking model needs a consistent definition of a good candidate. If what you are hiring for changes every week, the model cannot screen for it reliably.
- Very low volume: below roughly fifty hires a quarter, a well-organised recruiter is cheaper than an automated pipeline. The build cost does not pay back at that volume.
- Markets with low smartphone penetration: mobile-first outreach depends on candidates having smartphones and data. Where that is not true, the channel assumptions break and candidate experience degrades.
How we start
How we start — prove the gap before you build
Frontline hiring has been pitched by every ATS vendor and staffing platform. We start by mapping where your recruiter hours actually go.
- 01
AI Discovery Sprint
2 weeks · fixed price
We audit your current funnel stage by stage — intake, screen, schedule, offer, dropout — find the biggest hour and drop-off sinks, and hand back a ranked automation plan with ROI maths. Yours to keep whether or not you proceed. If you do, the Sprint cost credits against the build.
- 02
Build
ATS and WFM integration first, then the ranking and outreach automation. Shift-fit logic, mobile outreach, and offer-dispatch are built to your role structure — not a generic template.
- 03
Production & continuous learning
Recruiter override on every automated decision, a TA dashboard showing funnel health by site and role, and change management for the recruiting team. Recruiter corrections feed the ranking model, so it sharpens with each hiring cycle.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Our candidates are not comfortable with automated screening — how do you handle that?
Mobile-first outreach and structured screens can be designed to feel like a straightforward application step rather than a test. For frontline roles, that usually means short, plain-language interactions and a fast response time — not a lengthy interview. We design the candidate-facing flow to your audience.
We hire across hundreds of sites and shift patterns — can the system handle that?
Yes. Shift-fit and location matching are core to a frontline build. The system ranks candidates against the specific site, shift, and travel radius for each role, and routes applications to the right hiring manager automatically.
Does it integrate with our ATS and workforce management system?
Yes. Banao integrates with your existing ATS, WFM, and scheduling tools — the automation sits on top of your current stack rather than replacing it. Integration is part of the build deliverable, not a separate project.
What happens to candidates who apply but stop responding?
Dropout recovery is a specific capability in the build. Candidates who stall receive automated re-contact at timed intervals, and where no response comes, they are marked for recirculation rather than dropped — so they surface again when a matching role opens.
How long before we see a measurable change in time-to-hire?
A Discovery Sprint takes two weeks. A build typically runs six to ten weeks. Most teams see the first automation-assisted hires within the build phase, as intake triage and outreach go live before the full pipeline is complete.
